What does Mercedes-Benz Prepaid Service include?

With the purchase of a Mercedes-Benz, a wide range of services are available to you, and the choice of one of these services is yours. In some cases, the benefits are so obvious that choosing one is a natural progression. This is the case with prepaid maintenance services. There are two types of prepaid maintenance services.

First, a program is available for new or very recent vehicles, i.e., models that have not yet undergone their first maintenance program. Basically, what the company is offering is to pay for a maintenance plan for your vehicle in advance. Now, there are a number of options available to you.

You can pay the required amount in one lump sum or include it in your monthly payments. In the case of a lease, it can be as little as $22 per month. You can also opt for plans that include three or four shop visits and depending on the mileage you add to your vehicle each year, different terms are on the menu. The length of the agreement can also vary from 36 to 48 months, which is often the term of a lease.

In return, what Mercedes-Benz promises you is rigorous maintenance of your vehicle according to the standards established by the company. If parts need to be replaced, they will be replaced with genuine Mercedes-Benz components. Most importantly, the company promises you significant savings of up to 20% off the regular price. And, of course, if you sell your vehicle, the coverage is transferable.

Then, with the Select Prepaid Maintenance program, we're looking at older vehicles. In fact, this option can be chosen only after the vehicle has undergone its first routine maintenance, or has been driven more than 25,000 km.

Again, flexible payment options are available, except that the company estimates potential savings of up to 30% over regular, piece-rate paid visits. That's significant.

And the various plans offered allow you to take advantage of roadside assistance. The program is transferable if you sell the car (which is an added value) and is available at all the brand's dealerships.

All in all, it's an incredible peace of mind that is offered to you with one or more of the options, depending on the vehicle you own. And with the purchase of a Mercedes-Benz product, that's what you want. In fact, you just want to drive.
