2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB: Compact Luxury That Offers More

The new Mercedes-Benz GLB is a step forward in the luxury compact SUV segment with outstanding amenities, interior volume, efficiency and more. It offers something rare in its class--an optional third row, adapting to the needs of your family without having to invest in a larger vehicle. Each GLB also includes the advanced MBUX voice recognition and control system.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB emphasizes efficiency and responsiveness

The GLB 250 4MATIC features a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that outputs 221 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This creates a response that puts the fun into driving. The future AMG GLB 35 will also feature the same engine with a 302-horsepower output and 296 lb-ft of torque. The eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission enhances performance with faster shifting. With added AWD traction, the GLB is ready for Montreal roads.

Despite the exciting performance, the GLB also focuses on efficiency. The 250 achieves a fuel consumption rating of just 9.2/6.4 L/100 km (city/highway). That means fewer stops at the pump and more time on the road with friends and family.

Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) creates a new connection with the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB

MBUX delivers an interactive voice recognition and control system that adds a higher level of connection between the GLB and its occupants. It integrates artificial intelligence and advanced multimedia that work to reduce driver distractions. The high-resolution cockpit, navigation instrumentation with augmented reality, and available 10,3-inch screens elevate the tech feel of the cabin.

As you interact with the GLB, the interior cabin provides a spacious environment. Front row occupants enjoy 1,045 mm of front head room, 1,419 mm of front shoulder room and 1,047 mm of front leg room. The second row isn’t too far behind with 1,394 mm of shoulder room and 967 mm of leg room. These measurements are found in much larger SUVs.

When you need to adapt the GLB to carry special cargo, you will have up to 1,805 litres of available volume with split second-row seats. The GLB even offers a spacious 570 litres of room behind the second-row seats, providing what you need for short- and long-term trips.
