The position requires an individual with excellent people relation skills, product knowledge, and sales ability in following our dealership sales system. Essential Duties

  • Sell and deliver units
  • Acquire and maintain total product knowledge

Receptionist-Cashier

Essential Duties

  • Ensure daily cash flow management
  • Collect payments from customers in cash, credit cards or checks
  • Complete the cash flow report on a daily basis and ensure that number balance
  • Keep track of unpaid invoices and proceed with the collection of amount due if necessary
  • Obtain authorizations for billing adjustments to the client bill
  • Opening and closing of the courtesy vehicle contracts
  • Print invoices and attach them to the order form to ensure effective follow-up in the future
  • Receive phone calls for service
  • Give the status of the vehicle repairs to the customer and answer their questions
  • Provide necessary explanations for costs and repair that were necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Respond to inquiries from colleagues and clients
  • Perform any other duties related or requested by the management

Qualifications

  • Have a diploma of professional Studies in Administration (AEP)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position

BDC Agent – Service

Silver Star Mercedes Benz is currently looking for its next customer service super star for its Montreal area Guest Services Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting our existing client base pertaining to various different touch points and following up with after service appointments.

You will hold the Silver Star core values that has set us apart from the rest at the fore front when conducting inbound and outbound calls and offer an enriched guest experience on every call.

Requirements

  • Experience in upselling and Customer service ( Asset)
  • Experience with ADP/ X TIME / 180 (Asset)
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Service Advisor

Respecting the values ​​and the mission of the company, and reporting to the Service Manager, the service advisor must offer a courteous customer service; clearly identify the client’s needs and answer questions about products, services and invoicing, in order to achieve the profitability objectives set by Silver Star.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Identify the customer’s need for maintenance and repair of the vehicle
  • Promote Mercedes products to the customers
  • Introduce to customers the benefits of recommended products
  • Offer maintenance recommended by the manufacturer
  • Assess the cost of maintenance or repairs to do on the vehicle
  • Write a work order detailing the costs of maintenance or repair and make sure the client signed it
  • Communicate the work order to the technician and answer his questions
  • Read the documentation about new products, in order to ensure that customers receive accurate and up-to-date information
  • Conduct various administrative follow-ups (telephone and e-mail)
  • Perform other duties related or requested by the Service Manager

Requirements

  • Have a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Mechanical knowledge will be considered an important asset
  • Mercedes experience will be considered an important asset
  • Diplomacy and respect
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite and ADP/CDK software
